OIE Data Request

The OIE provides customized reports strictly for University purposes and decision-making. This service is restricted to Pepperdine community members only.

Please allow at least two (2) weeks for the OIE to complete your request. A staff member will contact you directly if there are any delays or questions regarding your request. If you do not receive an automated acknowledgment of your request within one (1) business day, please resubmit your request and contact the OIE directly to confirm receipt.

If your request is urgent, please complete this form, but also contact OIE directly at 818-702-1041 to discuss your data needs.

Helpful Tips

  • Attachments – If applicable, please use the "Document Upload" option at the end of the form to upload examples, form instructions, previous OIE reports, or other materials related to your request.
  • OIE Factbook – Please review the OIE Factbook, which contains several interactive dashboards based on the most frequently requested data.

The OIE does not provide assistance with individual research projects, listservs, admission, financial, or marketing requests. Please use the Data Request Workflow to determine where to obtain data that are not available from the OIE. In addition, requests for raw data files, or files that contain any identifiers that would compromise confidentiality or FERPA compliance, are prohibited.

Form Completion & Waiver
Data provided by the OIE must be used for Pepperdine University purposes. Personal use of data are prohibited. The OIE does not provide any raw data files in order to protect confidentiality and privacy, and to adhere to FERPA guidelines. Individuals/departments requesting data are expected to take measures to safeguard data. This includes securely storing data and safely disposing data. Please review OIE's Data Management Policy for more information on securing and disposing data.
